Who owns Zorb Football Chester?
Zorb Football Chester is a service owned by Streetwise Soccer U.K. Ltd. Streetwise Soccer U.K. Ltd was established in 2012 to offer a variety of portable football skills activities and events across the UK. Check out our sister site for more info.
Where are you based?
We are based in the beautiful city of Chester, with our Zorb Football packages available across Cheshire, North Wales & the North West.
Do you offer Zorb Football / Bubble Football near me?
Yes – all our event packages are available across the North West & North Wales, with our Full Day packages also being available across England & Wales.
Which types of venue are suitable?
Any indoor sports hall, astroturf venue or suitable grassed area is fine. Zorb Football can NOT take place on concrete or tarmac. If you decide to book your own venue, it is your responsibility to ensure your chosen venue is safe and suitable. We reserve the right to cancel the event, with full charges still applicable, if we find upon arrival that your chosen venue is not safe & suitable for Zorb Football.
Do you charge travel costs?
We do not charge travel costs for the first 10 miles outside of our postcode CH3 5HD. Thereafter, we charge 40p per mile.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes – we have £5m Public Liability Insurance.
What type of Bubble Zorbs do you use?
Simply the best! Our Bubble Zorbs are made from TPU and are suitable for commercial use, with foam padded adjustable harnesses to keep you comfortably strapped in!
Do we need to sign a disclaimer?
Yes – everyone over16 who takes part in a private booking must sign a disclaimer before playing. Children who take part in private bookings i.e. Birthday Parties, must have a disclaimer signed by their parent / guardian or by the party organiser.
Do we need to sign a disclaimer if we play Zorb Football at an open festival or fun day?
Yes – we need everyone who plays to have a disclaimer signed either by themselves or their parents (if under 16). The booking organisation who hire us for these type of events also accept that Zorb Football Chester and our parent company, Streetwise Soccer U.K. Ltd are not responsible for any injuries occurring to any participants.
What is the minimum amount of players?
The minimum amount of players is 10
What shall I wear?
You should wear sport clothing and trainers. We recommend wearing shinpads although these are not essential.
Can I wear Football Boots?
No – Any form of moulded, studded or blade football boots are NOT permitted.
Is Zorb Football / Bubble Football a mixed gender sport?
Whats the age, weight and height limit?
Currently, the age limit is 11 years and above, or children with a minimum height of 4ft. In the near future we will be purchasing additional Bubble Zorbs suitable for smaller and younger children. Weight Limit is 17 stone. Height Limit is 6ft 6 inches.
Can groups drink alcohol whilst playing?
No! Any groups found drinking alcohol whilst playing or are intoxicated will be asked to sit out. There is a bar available on-site for the post-game pint.
Is there any chance of injury?
Yes. Zorb Football is generally a safe sport, with serious injuries a rare occurrence, however as it a contact sport there is always a chance of injury. All participants fully accept that playing Zorb Football is entirely at their own risk and that Zorb Football Chester & its parent company Streetwise Soccer U.K. Ltd are not responsible or liable for any injuries you may sustain whilst playing Zorb Football.
How do I make a booking?
Send us an enquiry via the 'CONTACT' page with as much detail as possible as to your preferred package, time, date and location and we'll get straight back to you to check availability and get you booked in. For private bookings, we take a 50% deposit upon booking, with the remainder paid in cash on the day. For corporate bookings, upon providing a purchase order we will issue you with an invoice which can be paid via either online bank transfer or cheque within 7 days of the event.
How do I pay the deposit?
After you have confirmation of your date & time, you can pay via debit / credit card over the phone or via a secure online payment link. Alternatively, you can make payment via online bank transfer, cheque or cash.
Is the deposit refundable if we cannot attend?
The deposit charges are non-refundable. If you cancel prior to 24 hours before the event, we will issue a refund for any amounts paid with the exception of the deposit. If you cancel within 24 hours of the event, all charges are non-refundable.
What about if the weather is poor?
In case of poor weather prohibiting your session from going ahead, we are happy to rearrange your event. The decision as to whether continue with the event or not will lie solely with the Zorb Football Chester event manager, who's decision is final. We will not charge you any additional costs, however we cannot guarantee that the venue will not charge to rearrange the hire of the pitch. We can book an indoor venue if you prefer.
Zorb Football Chester (owned and operated by Streetwise Soccer U.K. Ltd) reserves the right to terminate any booking in the event that the Bubble Zorbs are being misused. We also reserve the right to cancel or terminate any booking where the venue organised by the client is deemed to be unsafe or unsuitable for play. In the event of unforseen circumstances ie, traffic, weather, venue, Zorb Football Chester (owned and operated by Streetwise Soccer U.K. Ltd) reserves the right to cancel bookings; any refunds or reimbursement as a result will be at the discretion of Zorb Football Chester (owned and operated by Streetwise Soccer U.K. Ltd)
